AzoWay
An essential green guide for your journey through the Azores islands

How can I get around?
There are several ways to move about on each Island. There's public transportation on all the islands except Corvo.
All the Islands have regular taxi services but they are sure to be far more expensive and harmful to the environment.
In order to choose your means of transportation please check the ViaMichelin Tool. By choosing the least pollutant way to get around you 're helping the community to keep it's natural value intact and promoting green mobility on the Island.
With this tool you can:
- Evaluate the distance between your and the destination position;
- Check the difference of travel time if you take a car, bike, etc..
- The average petrol costs for different types of cars for your specific trip
- Choose between a sightseeing trip or a more direct journey;
- Check the carbon emissions that resulted from your trip.
