The Terceira Mar Hotel is a four star unit of the Group Bensaude Turismo, opened in May 2003 and is located in Fanal Bay beneath Mount Brasil (Environmentally Protected Landscape considered World Heritage by UNESCO), near the city of Angra do Heroísmo. It was the first EMAS certified hotel in Portugal, after having invested in various equipment that allows high quality services using all resources in a rational and environmentally friendly way
