In order to travel to different islands in Azores you have at your disposal 3 transportation companies, SATA Airlines, TRANSMAÇOR and Atlântico Line.
The ferry lines are frequent during the day and allow you a larger schedule flexibility but SATA's service is much quicker but moer expensive. Be sure to check all the details by clicking on the logos!

These flight durations may vary for different weather conditions, the occurence of administrative issues such as strikes or the specific season in which you book your flight.

This transporting company offers a ferry service mostly between the western islands of Açores: Faial, Pico and S. Jorge.
The service provided consists of transportation of passengers and merchandise but all motorized vehicles are not allowed. Connections to S. Jorge are made once a day, between Faial and Pico at least twice a day and transportation to Terceira occurs mostly during the Summer.
As these connection frequencies vary considerably during the year you should check thoroughly the schedules on TRANSMAÇOR's website.

Atlântico line is the largest ferry company out of the two and provides service for merchandise passengers and for motorized vehicles. The frequency of trips is not daily so you should check the schedule of Atlântico Line some days in advance.
There are also discount tickets for families, passes for specific trips and seasonal tickets.
